For those who enjoy outdoor activities and want to have a rustic experience, plan a trip to Two Harbors. Located on the west end of the Island, the quaint town of Two Harbors is an outdoor lover’s paradise.a group of people on a boat in a body of water

Play: Two Harbors is truly a place where you can disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city and take advantage of what nature has to offer. The Dive & Recreation Center has everything you need to enjoy hiking, mountain biking, camping, kayaking, stand up paddle board, boating, fishing, snorkeling, and world-class scuba diving in the crystal-clear water.

If you are looking to lay back and enjoy the picturesque view of the bay, rent a palapa or lounge chair just steps from the water. There is even food and beverage service right to you, so you don’t ever have to leave.a person sitting on a bed

Stay: No adventure is complete without a place to lay your weary head after a long day of being out in nature. Two Harbors’ accommodations range from camping sites to stays at the historic Banning House Lodge. So, no matter your taste Two Harbors has a place for you.

If you are new to camping, Two Harbors is a great place to start. Two Harbors has a great program that you can purchase your favorite food and drinks from the General Store and have your items delivered directly to your campsite at Little Harbor or Two Harbors Campground. Pick up a single-use cooler from the Two Harbors General Store and stock up on groceries like fresh fruit and vegetables, hot dogs, sandwich items, beer, wine, and more! They will deliver your cooler with a bag of ice for $25.a group of people sitting on a bench

Dine: While taking a break from all the activity head down to Harbor Sands, where you can enjoy signature food and drinks from Harbor Reef Restaurant on the waterfront dining deck, or at your beachside palapa or chaise lounge. We highly recommend trying Catalina’s signature cocktail, the Buffalo Milk that was original created in Two Harbors. Don’t worry, there is not actual buffalo milk in the cocktail.

If you want to lay back and enjoy the view from your campsite, you can also order breakfast or dinner delivered to you as well.

Transportation: Catalina Express offers service to Two Harbors from our San Pedro terminal. Please make your reservation early as departures due sell out due to the reduced capacity during this time. Or, you can book the Discover Two Harbors tour for transportation to Two Harbors from Avalon.
