Winter Schedule Service

From October 19, 2009 to April 1, 2010, Catalina Express is offering daily scheduled service between Long Beach Downtown Catalina Landing and Avalon and between Dana Point and Avalon.

 

During this schedule period, the Long Beach Downtown Catalina Landing port will service Two Harbors.

 

Instead of regularly scheduled service, the San Pedro port will service private charters and the Queen Mary port will service the Catalina Classics Camps and charters.

This is the primary port for Catalina Classics Camps and Charters. This port serves many of the youth groups seeking adventure and education on Catalina Island including:

• CIMI
• San Gabriel Valley Boy Scouts
• Catalina Experience

Daily round-trip service to Catalina Island departs from the Catalina Downtown Landing, Long Beach or San Pedro.

*Children under 7 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Commodore Lounge Upgrade

$15.00 per person each way.
Available on Starship Express, Jet Cat Express and Catalina Jet.

Captain's Lounge Upgrade

$ 60.00 each way from San Pedro and Long Beach, accommodates up to 6 passengers.

$ 80.00 each way from Dana Point, accommodates up to 8 passengers.

Available on Avalon and Super Express and the Catalina and Islander Express.

Additional Information

All schedules, fares and taxes are subject to change in accordance with the California Public Utilities Commission, including a fuel surcharge. Round trip fares include $4.00 Island wharfage fee.

Reservations

Advance reservations are highly recommended as our departure times often sell out. Tickets may be purchased the day of departure, based on availability.

Purchasing Tickets

• Passengers with advance reservations will be given a reservation number. Please present this number to the agent at the ticket window.
  
• Passengers can pay for their tickets in the forms of cash, Traveler’s Checks, Visa, MasterCard or American Express with a valid photo ID that matches the name on the credit card.
  
• Passengers without advance reservations may purchase tickets on the day of departure, subject to availability.
