The fleet consists of eight high-speed vessels including four large catamarans. Known for its sleek lines, the Catalina Express fleet has an unparalleled track record of reliability and safety in taking passengers to and from Catalina Island.
Each vessel offers inside cabin seating, outside upper deck seating, full bar, refreshments and snacks. For an additional fare, some offer private lounges, Commodore or Captain’s, which can be pre-booked and where passengers enjoy increased privacy, a complimentary beverage and priority check-in and boarding. The Catalina Express team works 365 days a year to keep the fleet at top performance.

Commodore Lounge passengers enjoy priority boarding and check-in privileges, comfortable seating in a more intimate lounge environment and a complimentary beverage served with a packaged snack by the cabin attendants. The upper-level lounge offers leather-trimmed seats that are wider for comfort. Seat-to-ceiling level windows are available for great ocean views.
Commodore Lounge is available on the Catalina Jet, Jet Cat Express and Starship Express. Pets are not permitted in the Commodore Lounge.

For increased privacy and exclusivity, upgrade to the Captain’s Lounge. The Captain’s Lounge offers priority boarding and check-in privileges, four complimentary beverages, amenities and plush seating.
The Captain’s Lounge can accommodate up to six passengers from San Pedro or Long Beach or eight passengers from Dana Point. Captain’s Lounge is available on the Avalon Express, Super Express, Islander Express and Catalina Express.
