CHILL is a new spot at Descanso Beach Club that serves frozen cocktails to those needing a frosty treat. You can even order the cocktail in a palm tree cup! They offer a variety of flavors including Buffalo Milk, Mango Margarita, Strawberry Daquiri, Jack & Coke and more. Those under 21 can join in on the fun with a virgin Strawberry Daquiri or virgin Piña Colada.

Lloyd’s of Avalon

Lloyd’s has been an Island sweets’ institution since 1941. Visitors and locals flock to this confectionery to enjoy their homemade salt water taffy, fantastic caramel apples, perfect peanut brittle, creamy fudge and scrumptious chocolates. Their ice cream cones are another reason this is a must visit location. With such a variety of flavors, it is impossible to choose just one. Luckily, the cones are big enough to fit at least two.

Seaside Sweets

Catalina Island’s first paleteria! Seaside Sweets has La Michoacana Premium Paletas in a variety of flavors including Mango Chile, Kiwi, Crushed Oreo, Strawberry, Guava and Walnut to name a few. If you are not familiar with a paleta, they are a popsicle with a milk or fruit base that are a refreshing treat. Seaside Sweets offer a variety of candy as well to enjoy.

Catalina Coffee & Cookie Co

If you need an extra energy boost, Catalina Coffee and Cookie Co has various ice coffees or smoothies to sip on throughout the day. Their Strawberry Hibiscus Iced Tea was voted as the #1 Best Taste of Drink without Alcohol for the 2018 Taste Around of Avalon.
