Thank you for your interest in experiencing Catalina Island with Catalina Express. Please complete the form below with details about your assignment, publication, audience, and requested travel dates. Submissions are reviewed based on availability and editorial alignment.

Please ensure all of the information requested below is included. It is important that engagement percentages are provided for each channel. If you do not have a presence on any of the listed channels, please indicate “NA.”

Documents needed are a copy of the FAA-issued drone license and a cellphone or radio channel contact being used for communication with harbor, Helicopter service etc. Catalina Island abides by State of California drone filming guidelines and requires a California Film Commission form be filled out here: https://film.ca.gov/wp-content/uploads/CFC-UAS-Application.pdf *Please note: Catalina Express requires lithium ion batteries with the passenger at all times per US Coast Guard.

Two pieces of luggage are allowed per passenger with max. dimensions of 23” x 23”x37”. This luggage will be stored in the luggage hold. One carry-on per passenger is allowed with max dimensions of 12” x 12” x 24”. No one piece can exceed 50lbs. Please visit the Catalina Express website for the full baggage policies.
